Strength in your abs are a major function of your overall health.

My mom said that my blogs are way too long. 

I thought middle school kids had a short attention span, but apparently so do 76 year olds!

 

Taking her advice, I just want to mention ABS quickly today.

Like most all exercises for most all people, engaging the muscles in different ways is the most efficient path to improving abs. 

According to 50-100Fitness, doing a MINIMUM amount of ab exercise EVERYDAY can help you achieve your goals.

When we say “Sit-ups”… remember this is the MINIMUM.  And these can be any variation of a sit-up or ANY functional exercise that the benefit is to help your future self sit up with ease.

I just timed myself.

I did 10 sit-ups, 10 push-ups, and 10 body weight squats in 1 minute and 10 seconds.  And I didn’t really rush.  The point is:  Just get started. 

Your minimum can be done in a very short period of time each day.
